As a child I was always interested in art and making items. When I got my first sewing machine (which set on fire shortly after being plugged in) I was hooked.

 

After studying art and fashion for several years I gained a First Class Honours in Fashion at Coventry University, I set out into the world of teaching. After a couple of years of not making anything I realised I was in the wrong career. (check out my blog post)

There is nothing I love more than creating clothes, using bright prints and making something truly unique, I love to see people wearing my clothes. I have never been one to follow the crowds and as my mom would say I'm very "individual" and "distinctive", and so Distinctly Individual was born.
